Hello my darlings,

For a long time, I felt like I was drifting through life. I wasn’t unhappy. In fact, I had many things to be grateful for. But I was moving through each day doing what was expected of me, checking boxes, accomplishing goals, and wondering why something still felt missing.

Then I found my purpose.

Or perhaps a better way to say it is that I woke up from a life without intention.

Finding my purpose changed everything. It gave me energy in the morning. It transformed work into something meaningful. It turned daily tasks into stepping stones toward a future I was excited to create. Most importantly, it helped me become a better version of myself for the people I love.

Purpose gives direction to life. Without purpose, life can feel like a boat drifting at sea. You may still move forward, but you aren’t always sure where you’re headed. With purpose, every choice begins to feel more intentional.

What Is Purpose?

Many people think purpose is a career.

Sometimes it is. Sometimes it isn’t.

Your purpose is not simply what you do for a living. It is the unique way you are meant to contribute to the world. It sits at the intersection of your passions, your experiences, your strengths, and the ways you can help others.

Purpose is less about what job you have and more about the impact you want to make.

Why Finding Your Purpose Matters

When you discover your purpose, something shifts. You stop asking:”What should I do with my life?” And begin asking:”How can I use my gifts to serve others?”

Purpose creates clarity. It creates motivation. It gives meaning to difficult seasons because you understand what you are working toward. The most successful people are not always the most talented. Often, they are simply the people who have found something worth dedicating themselves to.

How to Begin Finding Your Purpose

1. Look for What Energizes You

Pay attention to the things that make you come alive.

  • What subjects do you constantly find yourself learning about?
  • What conversations excite you?
  • What could you spend hours doing without becoming bored?

Purpose often leaves clues long before we recognize them. For years, I believed my purpose was the career I had built as an esthetician. I loved helping women feel beautiful and confident. There was nothing wrong with that path, but I eventually realized I kept trying to connect that work to something deeper.

What truly excited me was helping people see life differently. Helping them find meaning, magic, wonder, and intention in everyday life. Once I recognized that pattern, everything became clearer.

2. Look at Your Challenges

Your purpose is often connected to the struggles you’ve overcome. The lessons that changed your life may be the very lessons you are meant to share with others.

Think about the obstacles you’ve faced.

  • What have they taught you?
  • What wisdom have you gained?
  • What do you wish someone had taught you sooner?

Many people discover their purpose by helping others navigate a path they have already walked.

3. Ask How You Can Help Others

Purpose isn’t only about personal fulfillment. It is also about contribution.

The question is not simply: “What do I love?” The question is: “How can what I love help someone else?”

When passion and service meet, purpose often emerges. Your experiences, perspective, and story are unique. There is no one else who has lived your exact life. That uniqueness matters. Someone, somewhere, needs the lesson you’ve learned.

4. Create Space to Listen

Purpose rarely appears when life is loud. It often reveals itself during quiet moments of reflection. This is why practices such as meditation, journaling, walking in nature, prayer, or visualization can be so powerful.

For me, purpose wasn’t found by forcing an answer. It was found by creating enough stillness to hear one. Your version of meditation does not have to look like anyone else’s. It may be a hike through the woods. It may be sitting quietly with a cup of tea. It may be writing in a journal before bed. The method matters less than the willingness to listen.

What Happens When You Find Your Purpose

One of the biggest surprises was not what I found. It was how I felt.

I felt more energized.

I felt more focused.

I felt more present.

The work didn’t disappear. In many ways, I became busier than ever. But the work felt meaningful because it was connected to something larger than myself. Purpose became the reason I got out of bed in the morning. It became a compass that helped me make decisions with confidence.

The Truth About Finding Your Purpose

Finding your purpose is not a single moment. It is a process. It unfolds one step at a time. You do not need to quit your job tomorrow. You do not need to have everything figured out.

You simply need to begin paying attention to the things that wake you from the ordinary and make you feel alive, the lessons life has taught you, and the ways you feel called to help others.

Purpose is not the destination. It is the energy that propels you down your path in life. Once you find it, life begins to feel less like something that is happening to you and more like something you are intentionally creating.

That is where an enchanted life begins.
